Small Business & Reference Center

This handy website is provided by the State Library of Kansas for state residents. Patrons can browse documents for current and up and coming small business owners, including landlords. There are downloadable startup kits, lecture videos, and access to several business basics resources. You can access it directly from the library or from home with a Kansas Library eCard. Don’t have an eCard? Stop by the library and we’ll get you one.

You can limit your search in the database to just forms – so if you are a landlord, for example, and need a sample lease agreement, it is easy to find and pull up. You can do this by going to “Advanced search” and choosing “Form” under the document type list.
