Home Library Service

Do you need books and movies but can’t get to the library? Then let the library come to you!

Home Library Service is available to housebound residents within the Hiawatha city limits free of charge.

Our staff will work with you to make sure you get the kinds of library materials you want, choosing from our wide selection of books, large print materials, audio CDs, and DVDs. You can also reserve books and movies that are not currently on the shelves.

To participate, you must have a current library card or apply for one. We will also ask you to fill out a form to guide us in selecting books and movies especially for you. Those who wish may select their own materials using our online catalog.
